From Tree Love

45 C-Prints, 21’’ x 14’’ each, installed in a line

Tree Love explores the love-inspired carvings and historic arborglyphs found along the Brandywine River in Delaware. Commonly considered a whimsical act of love, carving into beech trees in the Brandywine Valley has assumed a level of cultural significance that is hard to imagine. The carvings date back as far as 1903 and until now have gone completely unnoticed. Love, lust, remorse, anger and play fuse with the landscape and become a diary of generations.

at Soundhub LSO St Lukes in November 2012. This is a documentation of the first workshop that was held which was to give me a feel for the more experimental films that followed of the improvisational process.

Warscape WarCrime Warchild from Debra Fear on Vimeo.

The slaughter of children whether it was in the holocaust of WWII to through now and Gaza and Iraqi and who knows where else - all #warcrimesagainstchildren are reprehensible- according to UNICEF in the last decade 10 million children were traumatised by war - those are the ones that lived.
Only the psychopath should be proud of that.
